I painted this watercolor of dahlias in honor of my aunt Delia who died yesterday. She was a beautiful person, a sunny personality. She had Alaheimers and it was sad to see her loose her shine.We will remember her with love.

Silvia and Gracie, I'm so sorry you lost your aunt! Sil, this lovely painting is a tender tribute. Soft and loose with heads facing upwards - it's just perfect. Love the blossoms, leaves and vase. A "traditional Silvia"! Hope you are planning to frame this one if you haven't already! Lovely!
