Done on a half sheet of watercolors . I started with wet-in-wet idea.Let paint flow downward with thin coats of gouache. Blotted with paper towel and began to get texture. After more layers I defined some areas.When I turned the painting upside down,it reminded me of Cuban Rhumba dancers from my native land.
Woo Hoo! This is super! What a great title for a painting with so much movement and rhythm! Yes, I feel a patterned recurrence of a rhumba beat! You've got it!! And - drum roll - On a 1/2 sheet!! Yea! Hope this one is in a frame and on the wall!!
