Roses after Van Gogh



11x15 watercolors

Painted for the Following the Masters challenge offered by Michelle Burnett. I enjoyed it immensely as I love to paint flowers. We were to paint like Van Gogh and I chose his White Roses.

    I missed this when I visited last time. I didn't realize you posted it on Follow the Masters and saw it on their blogspot. Such a delicate painting. Beautiful.

    Thanks to all of you artists for your comments. I enjoyed doing this piece very much. I love to paint flowers and especially a la Van Gogh here.

    Silvia - watercolour is such a difficult medium to emulate a Van Gogh - but you've pulled it off. A super & subtle work!
