San Francisco Hill

14x10 watercolors

This painting was just finished. I painted it to enter a challenge. It was a true challenge for me to paint this picture, but I enjoyed painting it.

  1. A nice view. It's been a long time since I visited my brother in Santa Rosa. We went to San Francisco and to the Japanese Garden, the Zoo, and Chinatown. Did you know there once was an "emperor" of San Francisco? It's true.
I need to write a poem about this painting.
    See you.

  2. Thanks for the comment, Jim. It was a true challenge to paint this from a photograph. I didn't know that San Francisco had an emperor once.Look forward to your poem. Silvia

  3. You Go Girl! So happy you painted for the DSFDF Challenge! Your painting is loose and colorful. I especially like the areas of negative painting! Great entry!
