Wanderer
9x12 FW inks
This time of the year, after the flowers are gone in my part of the world, it gets windy and I get moody. I find that pouring wet in wet expresses moods that otherwise can't be got with straight painting. The music I put on to paint by completed the mood. Have done a series. This is no.1

That's a nice one, Sylvia. Reminds me of Miro.
ReplyDeleteThank you James, I had just looked at a Miro film and decided to paint in his style. I have always admired Miro's painting. Silvia
ReplyDeleteEncore! Exciting piece, says a lot and I really do feel the music, Lori
ReplyDeleteThe surface that you get from this process is fantastic. I always am attracted to that in a piece regardless of the subject. It's like painting for other painters. (Although you do it for yourself - it becomes convincing and others can "read" that). Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness, Silvia! I am away for a week and look what you've been up to! Woo Hoo! Fabulous! I love it! Can't wait to see more in this series!
ReplyDeleteThanks all to all you wonderful artists who commented on my abstract piece. I have such fun painting abstracts. They are so liberating.Silvia
