I painted this scene for a challenge by Karin Jurick called Differetn Strokes From Different Folks. I painted it vertically and after surveying the opinion of some good artists like my friend Rosemary Sexton, I decided to re post it vertically. I like it better and had lots of fun with the subject.

This self portrait was done for Followign the Masters challenge, a wonderful challenge from Michelle Burnett. After many tries and coaching from my wonderful portrait painter friend, Rosemary Sexton, I obtain some resemblance of me. I enjoyed the journey.
