15x11 pastel over watercolor
This painting was on my bin and I took it out this morning and finished it into a mostly pastel painting. My yard is so beautiful this time of year, summer, that the beautiful and profuse wildflowers inspire me to paint this picture.

ReplyDeleteI love the slant of the colors coming down from the top: the sky seems to influence the flowers to slant in the same direction (which is true, of course, but never quite so visual).
