Reflections

This is a series called Reflections, A New Day. The painting is 15x22.The painting has several layers. It waas done two paintings one on top of the other using only only part of each image from each painting and glued one to the other. Then I collaged the accents from parts of paintings I had.I am finding that I like collage work more and more. It combines my skills and works well for me.

  1. Gorgeous colors, Silvia. For some reason, I am reminded of Picasso with this piece. Lovely!

  3. Hi Silvia I like this idea, I was up north Michigan last summer and saw an artist do something similar to this on 3-d forms. He cut very thin pieces of water color paintings and glued them next to each other on the object.
